With more than 200 million users and 100 million users logging on each week, Facebook is one of the largest social networking sites available. It easily allows you to connect and talk with people all around the world. And now, you can use Facebook as one of your Social MLM tools. This article will show you how you can use Facebook with your network marketing business.
Know Someone before Talking with Them
Imagine walking down the street and as you are walking, you see a sign on everyones back. On the sign are the details about each person like age, occupation, likes, dislikes, friendly, kind, bad attitude and etc. You can then pick and choose exactly who you would talk to before contacting them.
And guess what, you can now do this via Facebook. This social MLM tool is a way to generate leads. The great thing about using Facebook in your MLM business is that you can learn about a person before actually talking with them. This is far better than cold contacting where you know little to nothing about the person you've just met.
Proper Way of Contacting on Facebook
In my opinion, the best way to meet someone on Facebook is to find people who share the same interests as you. For example, you may be a person whole loves dogs. You can find others who love dogs by using the search option available on Facebook. This can be the foundation of your conversation whenever you make contact with the person.
Another way of finding people with common interest as you is looking through the groups on Facebook. If you love dogs, there is a strong possibility that there are at least a few groups set up in Facebook where others love dogs as well. Instantly, that is a few hundred or few thousand people (depending on group size) you have found automatically, that love dogs. You can then establish a rapport with them.
When you have identified the person you want to contact, look through their profile (if you are able to). If you have to become their "friend" first, then be sure to send a message whenever you send the request to be their friend. In the message, you should tell them why you are contacting them. Therefore, if you are contacting them to talk about dogs, you should say something like "Hello, I see you are a dog lover too. I would like to be your friend so we can exchange ideas about dogs." If you do not add a message, chances are they will not add you as a friend.
Be Cautious
Please be sure to use your common sense when using Facebook. If you are talking with someone and you get a bad feeling about that person, then discontinue the conversation.
