The first is that as well as asking your friends to join you can also join up with other mobs to grow yours, you are allowed to be a member of more than one mob as is everyone else, so use this to your advantage, and use the add me, which you will find on a lot of the Facebook pages.

Another little tip is that when you sign into mafia wars type into the search box 'mafia wars' and look on the pages that are dedicated to it, you will find that people who have been added as friends have done so to grow their mobs also so even if the amount of people you have added on your own friendship page has been exhausted by you begging your mates to join you the pages dedicated t other mafia wars are full of people just like you.

Try and concentrate on one task at a time, so you will either be more into getting property or completing jobs. Make sure that you have given each of your members a weapon so that your mob will have higher defense levels therefore will grow in popularity as well as strength.

Facebook Freezes - Why Does Facebook Freeze? And How to Fix It

Facebook is a wonderful website that let us stay connected with our friends. A great majority of us can not live with out it. It becomes a serious concern when Facebook freezes. We can not use it properly and feel frustrated. What are the reasons for Facebook freezes and how to fix it?

There are two reasons that account for these kind of freezes. I have mentioned the reasons of Facebook freeze along with the possible solutions. The suggested solutions are easy to act upon. An average computer user can take these steps and avoid Facebook freeze in future.

First, small size of RAM makes computer slow. When we use many programs at one time, computer tends to bogged down. Since, uploading/viewing pictures or watching videos on Facebook use many resources, it can result in freeze. This problem can be cured by increasing the size of RAM. An increased RAM size will make sure that enough space is available to run many programs at the same time.

Secondly, corrupt windows registry cause freezes in computer. With passage of time, registry becomes congested and corrupt. Registry is most vital part of the computer system that stores and use vital information.A neat and clean registry ensures smooth and fast computing. Clean registry means no Facebook kind of freezes. For this, you need to use the best registry cleaner. It will solve the problem of such freezes. Registry cleaner should be used regularly. Additionally, it will speed up computer for all other programs.

The above guidelines allow you to Avoid Facebook Freezes and keep your Windows properly maintained. Prevention is better than cure.

You can have a complete registry cleaning solution, you can try this globally recognized software utility available at Intel Directory.

Facebook and How to Create a Business Page Which Will Bring More Custom by Building Membership

Facebook has become a worldwide phenomena, with people all over the world using it to keep in touch. Technically it is a superb testament to web engineering. It can also take over your life if you're not careful. But Facebook can also be used as a very good marketing tool if approached the right way. If you haven't been on it yet, it could be quite daunting, however, if your having problems, ask any 12 year old for help and you'll be up and running in no time.

It's true, Facebook is used by kids. It's also true that a lot of businesses use it too. The reason why is very simple, it's where their customers are.....

If you don't like Facebook, get over it. It is simply where you will find the groups and associations you are looking to market to. Online, all the time. So let's look at Facebook a little closer. If you don't have an account (profile) and you want to take advantage of this tool then get online and create one. It's quite simple (After all, if a 12 year old can do it....) If you have an account already then go to it now....

Tip.. If you are going to use this for business, make sure your personal profile is OK, the last thing you need is clients becoming friends only to find a picture of you mate paul, throwing up outside a nightclub after a particularly good Stag Do.

Creating a Group for your business

1. Go to the home page.
2 On the right hand side of the page you will see Grey panel called Applications.
3. Click on the Groups tag.
4. This will take you to the Groups page. Near the top there is a grey button which says. + Create a New Group.
5. This will bring up a form which you need to fill in.

> The first line is Group name - Put in you company name.

> Next, is a pull down menu titled "Network". During your set up you may have joined many networks or none, leave this to say Global (Available to all of Facebook)

> Description is next. This is where you a full description of the company, but be aware that when a bit more savvy with the Facebook platform you will also be able to use this for marketing calls to action. But for now just put some really good copy on the company in here. This field is one of the many which is fully editable, so if you just want to put a very short description in for speed then it's OK you can always change it later.

> The next section is where you set up your Group Type. Hit the pull down menu and select which category most suits your company. This would probably be Business. At this point the pull down menu next to it will highlight. This is where you select the Type of business you are.

> The next box is Recent News, you can skip this for now, we'll come back to that when we have finished setting up the Group.

> Fill in the rest of the contact details.

6. Hit the blue Create Group button at the Bottom Customise Now we come to the next form.. This is where you can upload a photo, or what might be more appropriate, a Graphic or Company Logo. Use a logo which is not a massive file.

> Click on Choose File, and find the logo or picture you want to use. hit the check box that you certify that you have the rights to the picture and hit the blue upload picture button..... wait for it to upload. It will show up in the frame on the left hand side of the page once it has completed the uploading process.

> Now type your web address in the window provided. Below that there are check boxes where you can decide how you want to run your Group Page. Again you can change these settings to have more control on whether only you can upload photo's to the site or will you allow members to upload as well. This is a choice which has pro's and con's - you decide which way you want to go, I personally would only allow me as an administrator or creator of the group to decide what I want on my page. But that's just me (Control Freak).

7. Once you have done that, hit the blue button at the bottom to save the page. This will automatically take you to a page to invite your friends. You can do this at a later stage, once you have your page the way you want it. So, now we'll look at out page. At the top of the screen you will see. Back to and then your company name. Click on this and you will see you page for the first time.

CONGRATULATIONS! You have a business Page on Facebook!

At the moment it all looks a bit sparce, especially if you have not done a lot of text, but this will change and we put more stuff into it. I walked through these steps with you as I was putting together a group for us at Business For Life. I have done a group to highlight our Internet Marketing Consultancy and to discuss and share with my clients issues around Internet Marketing. You can go to the group yourself now and become a member.

Facebook Cheats - For Your Partner to Flirt Behind Your Back!

While doing some research on cheats available for the Facebook games apps, I was quite astonished to see the new levels that cheating has gone to. It seems the addictiveness and competitiveness of Facebook games is bringing out a whole new sphere of dishonesty that simply wasn't here a few years ago.

While I don't have a problem with Facebook cheats in the gaming world I think it's quite disturbing to hear of the number of marriage and relationship break-ups that are attributable it seems to the new social networking era.

Of course jealousy and mistrust, which are which are the foundations of a rocky relationship, have always been around. Sometimes smouldering in the background. Igniting itself occasionally where alcohol is added as catalyst. The stresses of life in itself can wreak havoc on the best of relationships. But now as if working on your relationship wasn't hard enough couples have been forced into a whole new social arena that greatly exacerbates the situation.

Is your partner a Facebook cheat? It must be difficult to avoid such a doubt for many couples. The only sure way would be to have their password you might think, but that wouldn't really solve the problem though would it?

With millions of people now hooked on Facebook games, discovering that the only real way to get ahead is to have lots and lots of friends! The whole system encourages, even forces interaction through messaging and gifting and the likes. It's not uncommon now for people married or single to have hundreds if not thousands of friends, the majority of whom they wont know. They need them to play their game, to level up quickly. But does that put your mind at rest? Of course not.

Your partner is only human, and now it's easier than ever before in human history for them flirt with people they've never met and get away with it. Facebook cheats are everywhere it would appear, and they can easily remain unidentified, indulging in what started out as a harmless game like Mafia wars or whatever! This is can only be evidenced in the record number relationship break-ups today.

The whole thing seems unstoppable. A wife may notice her husband has amassed many friends, male and female. She cant help but notice the girls in particular. Some of them look so pretty, sexy even. So what does she do? She doesn't want to question her husband, but she cant bear it any more, so she adds them to her list of friends! Jealousy and mistrust can only abound.

So what can couples do to with Facebook in their lives? Here are a few tips that might help...

  • Whenever you write anything about your partner on Facebook or anywhere only write nice things, only make positive up building comments.

  • Make it a new rule or try to agree with each other not to write any personal things.

  • Say your uncomfortable with having your profile available to strangers, and agree not accept friends requests from people you both have no idea who they are.

  • If someone leaves a flirty comment about your partner - Ignore it, Facebook encourages these comments, they put words in peoples mouths, all they have to do is click. So it's only a silly comment, it's not a problem, but you must ignore it or it will become a problem so just leave it.

  • Don't ask for your partners password, give them some trust.

  • Don't do anything behind your partners back, like deleting messages etc.

If there are serious problems affecting your relationship, you might want to consider scrapping whatever social network you're on and starting afresh on another one, there are so many now, And surely your relationship is worth salvaging. You can then both be wiser and be more selective when adding friends.

When you do your best to take away any jealousy and mistrust, there can be so much fun to be had from social networking, and in particular with Facebook games. If you want to cheat, get a Facebook games cheat. Don't cheat on each other.

Facebook Marketing - Why You Should Use Facebook

If you want to market your business or your products and services effectively, internet marketing is the answer. First of all, you don't need to be an internet marketing expert in order to promote your products efficiently over the internet. What you just need is to know where to market it on the internet.

Try to think of a website that generates a lot of traffic and one that divides people according to their interests and hobbies. This way, you will be able to know where you should advertise your products and services and you will also be able to specifically target the people you want to sell your products to.

One website like this is a social networking website. Here, you will see that it will already have the traffic you need and most will contain the tools you need to efficiently advertise your products or services.

One such website is Facebook. Although a lot of people primarily use Facebook to socialize with their friends, you can also use this website as an effective internet marketing tool. It already has the numbers, where it already has more than 62 million active subscribers and is still growing.

When you join Facebook, you will see that you will be given your own profile page. Here, you will be able to tell people about yourself. Now, in order to advertise, try to start adding friends, preferably your own circle of friends or people that you already personally know. Once you build you own network of friends, it is now time for you to extend that network. Try joining groups that share your interest or groups that is interested in what you have to offer.

You can also try personalizing your profile page to make it unique which will attract people to view it. You might also want to post links to your website on your profile page or you can also syndicate your blog pages using RSS. These tools are already provided by Facebook, so you don't really need to know about HTML programming or other complicated internet things.

Another reason why Facebook is a great place to market products and services is that Facebook encourages word of mouth advertising. If someone likes your profile page or the products or services you sold them, they may be able to recommend you to their network of friends and also their groups. This means that the people in Facebook will be the ones that will advertise for you.

These are the things that you need to remember about Facebook and just few of the many reason why you should try marketing your business here.

With Facebook, internet marketing is easier and a lot more fun. Remember these tips and you can be sure that you will be able to effectively market your business website as well as the products and services you are selling far more effectively than other forms of internet marketing.

Facebook has it all. It has traffic and the tools. All you need to do is use the tools provided in order for the traffic to come to you.

The Most Popular Facebook Emoticons

It's hard to determine which Facebook chat emoticons are the best because everyone has their own opinion. Different people use Facebook chat for different things, so naturally they will not all use the same emoticons. Some might use hearts when talking to their sweethearts while others only use the most basic chat emoticons, the smiley faces.

Others enjoy finding the coolest emoticons to use in their chat sessions. To them, regular smileys are just plain boring. There are plenty of unusual symbols available that can be used on Facebook, so these people have plenty of options. Whatever your chatting style, you are sure to find some smileys or emoticons that you will enjoy using. Here is a list of some of the best Facebook emoticons.

#5: Shark Symbol

The shark symbol is one of the hottest Facebook emoticons right now. It's something that has just recently gained popularity. Much of the style on Facebook reflects back to the 80s, so the shark icon f its right in. After all, the movie Jaws was pretty popular during that time.

#4: Penguin Emoticon

When you think of cute, what can beat a penguin? They are just adorable, which is probably one of the reasons the penguin emoticon has become so popular lately. Penguins are especially popular during the winter, so you can expect to see use of this emoticon rise during that time.

#3: Pacman Symbol

In keeping with the 80s theme on Facebook, let's flash back to a time when Atari was the most popular game system and the game everyone was raving about was Pacman. This adorable yellow dude may not get much play time anymore, but he is back as a nostalgic symbol for those who grew up in the 80s or just loved playing the game. Using the Pacman emoticon in your Facebook chat messages is a great way to bring back old memories.

#2: Heart Symbol

Of course, one of the most popular emoticons on Facebook is the heart. That is because Facebook is often used by people who are romantically involved. Besides sending hearts back and forth to their lovers, many Facebook users send the heart when they are talking about that special someone to other people as well. This makes the heart a very popular Facebook symbol. After all, love makes the world go round.

#1: The Smiley Emoticon

Yes, number one is still and probably always will be the basic smiley. It seems that everyone uses this one. People started inserting smileys into their chat shortly after chat was invented. It is a good way to show your emotions when text can't get the point across by itself. Sometimes it can be unclear from reading a typed message what mood you are trying to express, especially if you are being sarcastic. There are emoticons for every possible emotion, but the most popular is still the basic smiley face.

Smileys and emoticons make for a more satisfying Facebook chat experience. You can start with these top five symbols and emotes if you've never tried them before and add new ones to your repertoire as you see fit. If you have a favorite Facebook emoticon that isn't listed here, please leave a comment and let us know.

Facebook Paid Advertising - All About Keywords That Work for Facebook Ads

The principles of marketing is that you offer your products to those who will most likely buy it in order to save your energy, money, and time. However, you also need to present your product in the most the compelling manner so that people will feel the need for it, making you the expert of solutions to the things they only realized to be necessities after you have informed them of it.

This principle, however, can be very difficult to practice if you do not care to study the demographics and to identify the particular social group that your advertising must be addressed to. Fortunately, in this information age, such requirements can be easily complied with just by using the most favored social networking site in the world, Facebook.

Facebook is a vast source of information on people with different needs and wants, of different age brackets, and of varying tastes and dislikes. You only have to seize the opportunity provided by this social networking site in your attempt to reach out the biggest number of people who will be your most probable customers.

To do this though, you need to be quite knowledgeable in the use of keywords as you try to determine to whom you should address your Facebook paid ads. In this respect, you may be required to do a little research in order to find out what are the appropriate keywords that will help you link up with the people you are targeting for your marketing campaign.

You may have to put yourself on the side of the people whom you wish to reach out, trying to guess what probable words they are going to enter in search engines as they try to look for solutions to their needs. You may also have to learn about the most popular items that they are most likely to search for in the internet so that you can use related terms as your keywords.

Facebook's format, however, allows you to simplify your task in finding the right keywords because it categorizes well the information on its members' profiles. When posting ads in the social networking site, you can get your keywords from the array of interests, favorite movies and TV shows, favorite books, activities, and jobs.

Another method for determining the right keywords is by basing these on the fan and group pages, especially if you believe that your product specifically addresses these cliques. The choosing of keywords related to these groups can make your ads actually reach more people.

Keywords are definitely of strategic value when it comes to online marketing in general and not just for Facebook. However, because of the fact that the social networking site allows you to narrow down to the most probable targets, your keywords become more effective.

The Advantages of Facebook

For those of you who don't already know, Facebook is one of the most popular social networking sites online today. As each day goes by, more and more individuals are setting up a Facebook account in order to socialise with friends and meet or network with other people.

As far as social networking sites go, Facebook has become one of the biggest in the world. Its online community grows each and every day as many more people flock to the world of online social networking. Below you can find some of the advantages of Facebook.

Making Contacts is Easier

Unlike other social networking sites like Linkedin, where you really need to know someone before you contact them, Facebook allows you to send a message with your 'friend request'. This helps to create new contacts and make new friends online without too much trouble.

Easy Interactivity

With Facebook's respectful platform it is possible to become friends with pretty much anyone. Whether it be your colleagues, your superiors, friends of your friends or even just your friends. On top of this, it is possible to use Facebook to just say hello to someone that you haven't seen in a long time or someone you have never met.

Aesthetics

the blue and white theme of Facebook is very nice. It has a very tidy layout that is uncluttered, spacey and easy on the eye. This social networking site tends to have an addictive quality and you want to keep staring at your various pages for hours on end.

Vicarious Pleasure

one of the best parts of Facebook would have to be the newsfeed. This lets you keep tabs on everything that your friends are doing on the site. It is possible to read the messages being sent and view the applications that are being used by your friends. This allows you to keep in touch with what's happening and also makes sure that you are aware of the many applications available on Facebook. If someone uploads new pictures or change something they profile you will know immediately.

If one of your friends right on someone else's wall you'll be able to read the message in your newsfeed. This does not violate privacy as only public messages are available to be viewed by anyone. Private messages remain private.

Other Advantages

Facebook also has many other advantages. These advantages range from it being a great way to kill time, to finding long lost friends wherever they are in the world. Best of all Facebook is free to use for anyone and everyone. This is much better than some other social networking sites that charge a fee.

I would personally recommend setting up a Facebook profile and on top of this the online social networking site is still gaining popularity at a rapid rate, especially with younger people. There are approximately 10,000 new students who join Facebook every day.

Create Your Personalized Facebook News Feed

Have you been having a frustrated relationship with Facebook lately - mostly over their tendency to turn a new application or feature ON for everyone, and then make you spend precious time turning it off, blocking those crazy little applications, or hiding people's updates on your News Feed?

What is the News Feed?

News Feed enables you to know all the events related to a Facebook acquaintance. On your profile page, you will receive a "feed" of the newest events produced by your friends and social groups' interests whenever you log in.

I really wanted to be able to personalize my News Feed, and show only those friends whose feeds I wanted to see when I log into my Facebook account. The only obvious way to accomplish this was to click the 'hide' arrow on the right side of a feed for every Facebook friend whose updates I did NOT want to include.

Very time consuming.

But I discovered there is a fast and easy way to create your own personalized Facebook News Feed, and have it be the default newsfeed in your account.

If you've been frustrated by this as well, we have created a short video on our website showing you exactly how to do this in your Facebook account. You will find the link to access it at the bottom of this article.

Here's a Shortcut to Customize your Facebook NewsFeed!

Another way to make sure you are seeing only the feeds of those whom you want to see is to create a special friends list with only those individuals in it.

Once you have that list, it will appear in the drop down menu on the left side of your page. Simply scroll down to it, grab it with your mouse, and drag it to the top of your left column. That becomes your new NewsFeed.

To see the short video on how to create and personalized Facebook News Feed, you'll want to check out http://www.businessbuildingshortcuts.com/2009/08/create-your-personalized-facebook-news-feed/

How To Find A Phone Number Using Facebook - Using Social Network Sites To Find A Phone Number
